Tu Face Idibia came into prominence on the platform of a Musical Group PLANTATION BOYS in the early 1990 as a lead singer. His sonorous voice propelled PLANTATION BOYS to an instant recognition and acceptability by the Nigerian populace and beyond from the Stables of Kennis Music owned by World Famous Kenny Ogungbe.
Like the ancient school adage “100 boys can never play for 100 years” and this ancient school adage came to play as the trio of Tu Face, Face, Black Face had to go their separate ways to pursue professional career in the land of Hip Hop Music.
Tu Face Idibia then came up with African Queen single record that was an instant hit. The success of Tu Face is as a result of his sonorous voice, message carrying lyrical contents, humility and simplicity lifestyle as Tu Face still lives in Festac Town where he grew up with his former Group members. To confirm his simplicity, his Night Club is situated in Festac Town and Black Face the former member of PLANTATION BOYS is the Manager of the Night Club
